My Vintage Wardrobe

The Vintage festival created by Wayne and Geraldine Hemingway was back this weekend but this time at the Southbank centre. I had such a blast at Vintage at Goodwood last year with Think Act Vote, it was great to get involved again this year.

I was asked by Oxfam to curate a wardrobe of my favourite pieces from their stock to go in the vintage wardrobes that they had close to the entrance of the festival. So on Thursday evening when the site was being set up, I stuck in and chose my pieces. I was delighted to get a tweet twenty mins after the festival opened to let me know that the first sale had been one of my selections!

When I got there on Friday evening, it turned out the dress I had my eye on had already gone, although I am sure it went to a very happy home.

Picking out my selection!

  1. I love all of this, especially the long printed dress. Looks like perfect festival wear! :)

  2. I’m so jealous! I would’ve loved to be there and shop!!! I love anything and everything that makes me look and feel like 1945…and affordable Vintage clothing is so hard to find in Charlotte NC!

Huave fun! Everything looks so cool and retro!
