Summer Rayne Oakes, eXtinction

I don’t have the words to describe this video, but simply think everyone should watch it. It’s a powerful story with Summer Rayne Oakes about the world that we live in. “It reveals that the most pressing environmental issues are not happening thousands of years from now, but are in fact happening within our lifetime — and specifically, on the timeline of my life, from birth to death.”

It speaks to me of the importance of intergenerational thinking for our present and our future.

The short film was directed by cinematographer Clayton Haskell and features photography by Tom Lowe.
